Aerial photographs of the 1940s show the HAA battery to the south of the junction of Morgaston Road and Aldermaston Road. The site comprises earthwork gun emplacement enclosures with a group of buildings to the north. |

The Heavy Anti Aircraft battery described above in (1) is visible on aerial photographs of the 1940s to the south of the junction of Morgaston Road and Aldermaston Road. The site comprises earthwork gun emplacement enclosures with a group of buildings to the north. This feature was recorded during the Silchester Iron Age Environs mapping project. (1) |
