Description

Summary of Building

Formerly an early-C19 mill constructed of stone with a slate roof. It was of four storeys and included loading bays and a semi-circular castellated tower situated off-centre. The building had nine windows to the left and six to the right. The remains of a water wheel were recorded in the interior when first listed.

Reasons for Removing the Building from the List

Oakworth Mill (middle portion only, occupied by Thornton), an early-C19 mill, has been removed from the List for the following principal reason:
