| Summary : An extensive area of contiguous Medieval ridge and furrow in the western part of Tidmington parish has been mapped from aerial photographs by English Heritage's Gloucestershire NMP. The ridges were visible as earthworks in 1947, and most survived until at least 1972. Some ridges were still visible in 1999. The fields cover an area of about 138 hectares, and are part of a much larger extent of ridge and furrow. |
