HER 17934 DESCRIPTION:-
17 pottery sherds of Roman date; fragments of two iron nails; three small pieces of miscellaneous building material; one small snail shell; and one small piece of animal bone, were found from a deposit around/near a burial 42 feet (12.8m) above edge of road on the Colesbourne-Winchcombe gas pipeline, Wadfield, Winchcombe {Source Work 3739.}
