Summary : The site of Roman turret 36B with consolidated masonry. The foundation stones of the turret have been exposed by the excavations within Housesteads Fort on Hadrian's Wall, having been overlain by buildings that were contemporary with the occupation of the fort, and remain to a maximum height of 0.7 metres.

The foundations of turret 36B, demolished when the fort Housestead was built, are visible inside the north rampart. (2)

NY 7896 6884. The foundations and walls have been consolidated, and stand now, to a maximum height of 0.7 m. Surveyed at 1:2500. (3)

The foundation stones of the turret have been exposed by the excavations within Housteads Fort at NY 7896 6884, having been overlain by buildings that were contemporary with the occupation of the fort. (4)
