Summary : Pair of boundary stones. One was erected in 1752 and is inscribed "R.Y. 1752" on the east side and "G.N." on the west side. The other was erected in 1815 and bears the inscription "T.K.S. 1815". They are situated on the boundary between the former Hutton Lowcross and Newton civil parishes. They stand on top of a Bronze Age cairn (see NZ 51 SE 29). Scheduled and listed. |
