HER 22936 DESCRIPTION:- The earthwork remains of two Post Medieval Hollow ways to the north of Stuare Farm, Newnham. 2003 - This area was mapped at 1:10,000 scale as part of the English Heritage: Gloucestershire NMP project. The earthwork remains of two Post Medieval Hollow ways to the north of Stuare Farm centred on SO 6814 1240. The earliest hollow way crossed the field south east - north west. A short length of hollow way to the south centred at SO 6819 1230 may be a continuation of this route. This hollow way is cut diagonally by another hollow way aligned south west/north east. {Source Works 4249, 7549 and 6880.} |
