Summary : A regular hexagonal Second World War concrete and brick pillbox, with 6 embrasures. The main arc of the pillbox is to the South. Wroughton hangar site west, Uffcott, RAF Wroughton, near Swindon.
More information : A regular hexagon pillbox, with 6 embrasures. Well constructed of concrete with brick shuttering and external cement cladding. All the embrasures and the door are blocked up, although there are small gaps through which the remains of a single Turnbull mount is visible. The lipped roof still retains its turf. The main arc of the pillbox is to the S. Wroughton hangar site west, Uffcott, RAF Wroughton, nr. Swindon. (1)
