Summary : Two Bronze Age bowl barrows surviving as earthworks. Both the barrow at SE 0581 5000 and the second barrow, centred at SE 0551 5010, are visible as earthworks on air photographs.

Survey of 3.4.62. checked and correct. Two round barrows, that on the west being unditched and mutilated by excavation, whilst the other, surrounded by a superficial ditch, is undisturbed. See Illus. Card for SE 05 SE 7. (4)

SE 059 500. Low Moor round barrow. Scheduled No WY/1090. (5)

Both the barrow at SE0581 5000 and the barrow, centred at SE 0551 5010, are visible as earthworks on air photographs. The former comprises a mound 6.6m in diameter wih an external ditch 0.9m wide. The latter barrow is surrounded by Round Dikes enclosure (situated near its south side). It is 9.2m in diameter and slightly disturbed on its north-western side.
