Summary : Passmore-Edwards House Chalfont Centre for Epilepsy. Patients villa built in 1904 to designs by Maurice Adams. The building is of two storeys with a three bay centre block flanked by L-plan wings to form a three-sided courtyard. Built of red brick on the the ground floor with tile hanging above, the roofs are of machine tiles. The main block has canted two storey bay windows with projecting timber-framed gables over. Alterations have been made to the left hand wing. |
