"A lightly palisaded enclosure of Roman date is said to have been found near the Roman road at Park Farm, Berechurch." (2)
'The investigations at Park Farm, Berechurch revealed no buildings but numerous trenches 12 - 18 ins. deep and full of remains, including a very beautiful light-green pillar-moulded glass vase and half a white pillar-moulded bowl." (3)
Samian B. Gaulish Ro. plainware. Flat dish found in excavation at Park Farm last year and given by the late Mrs. P. Tidswell. (4)
Park Farm - an occupation-site of the typical Colchester Belgic culture. Partly explored by Mr. Hall. (5)
The ground is under thick wild grass and is planted with young fir trees. Nothing of significance was noted. It is probable that the field was ploughed prior to the tree planting. (6)
