Ring-ditch shows as cropmark on aerial photographs. {Source Work 449.}
A 30m diameter triple circle. The middle ditch has breaks on its east and west perimeter, while the inner ditch has a distinct gap on its north-east side. {Source Work 862.}.
This is one of at least five small henges and/or ring-ditches (SMRs 306, 307, 313, 585) of Late Neolithic/Early BA date which together with the cursus (SMR 316) form an important ceremonial complex {Source Work 2873.}
1993 - This area was mapped at 1:10,000 scale as part of the English Heritage: Thames Valley NMP project.
A probable Prehistoric or Roman enclosure can be seen as cropmarks on aerial photographs at SP 2103 0021. This is a subcircular enclosure, diameter 17m, defined by two ditches. Within this double ring is a third ring ditch which may be a hut circle. The hut circle is a subcircular enclosure, diameter 7m, defined by one ditch, with one entrance facing north-east. This site has previously been described as a henge monument (Morph No. TG.58.18.2).
