HER 307 DESCRIPTION:- See also SMRs 304-6 and 584-92. A ring-ditch shows as a cropmark on aerial photographs (pers comm R Hinlgey, GCCAS, 1983) {Source Work 449.} At SP 2105 0004 is a 40m diameter ring-ditch. {Source Work 862.} This ring ditch forms part of large cropmark complex. It is one of at least five small henges and/or ring-ditches (SMRs 304, 306, 313, 585) of Late Neolithic/Early BA date which together with the cursus (SMR 316) form an important ceremonial complex {Source Works 902 and 2873.} 1993 - This area was mapped at 1:10,000 scale as part of the English Heritage: Thames Valley NMP project. A probable Bronze Age round barrow can be seen as cropmarks on aerial photographs. This is a circular enclosure, diameter 40m, defined by 1 ditch and centred at SP 2105 0004 (Morph No. TG.58.17.2).
