Summary : A Neolithic polished stone axehead was found in 1952, and a flint knife in 1949, both by M Walker. The axe is in Sheffield City Museum (accession number J 1956.81).

1949, both by M Walker. The knife is in Sheffield City Museum, the
axe in the possession of P A Mellars. (1)

Mr Mellars now lives at Cambridge and Mr Walker is not known locally.
Sheffield museum has the axe (Ne. polished axe, Acc. No. J 1956.81)
not the knife, and has no further information. (2)
