Summary : A church dating back architecturally to the 11th century , with alterations being made every century up to the 17th century. Built in coursed limestone rubble with ashlar dressings, with a lead and plain tiled roof. Its plan consists of a western tower, nave, aisles, chancel, south chapel and a porch. There is a late 10th or 11th century Saxon grave cover built into the 12th century north chancel wall, and a 10th-11th century crucifixion carved in high relief on the Saxon north-west nave quoin. |

Early English S arcade and tower, and 14th Century broach spire. 1500 N. and S. porch and aisle. 13th Century chancel. 14th Century easter sepulchre. 13th Century S. transept.
