Inscription reads: // MACCL.D / 7¾ MILES / //BUXTON / 4 / MILES //BRAYSHAW & BOOTH / MAKERS / LIVERSEDGE //. Grade II listed by Historic England. Milestone Society National ID: CH_BXMF04.
