Cast iron post, Heart scroll iron casting design, erected by Sheffield & Chapel en le Frith turnpike trust, 19th century. Inscription reads: // CHAPEL EN LE / FRITH / 5 MILES //SHEFFIELD / 17 MILES / HATHERSAGE / (7 MILES / CASTLETON / 1 MILE /) //. Grade II listed by Historic England.
