Description:Milestone, Batteridge Hill, opposite turn to Collaton, between Moorshop and Peter Tavy, On an unclassified road , W side, in wall, appearing as a gatepost by gate in field. Carved stone post, Tavy granite stone design, erected by Tavistock turnpike trust, 19th century. Inscription reads: // 14 / MILES / TO / PLYMo / 1832 //Chas. Lathe, Tipton//. Grade II listed by Historic England. Milestone Society National ID: DV_PLPT14. Last record: 2013. (See www.milestonesociety.co.uk)
