Cast iron post, Stanley iron casting design, erected by Lincoln South District turnpike trust, 19th century. Inscription reads: // PETER / BOROUGH / 9 / NORTH / DISTRICT //MARKET / DEEPING / SOUTH / DISTRICT //TO / LINCOLN / 43 / MILES / STANLEY //. Grade II listed by Historic England.
