Description:Milestone, High Street; in wall of Milestone Cottage (No. 185), beside arch to Styler's Way, A3400 (was A34), E side, set into wall of cottage under brick arch. Carved stone plaque , erected by Birmingham to Stratford turnpike trust, 18th century. Inscription reads: // From London / CII Miles / From Stratford / VIII / To Birmingham / XIV / 1748 //. Grade II listed by Historic England. Milestone Society National ID: WA_BMSF14. Last record: 2013. (See www.milestonesociety.co.uk)
