Carved stone post, Hungerford tombstone design, erected by Leckford or Sousley Water turnpike trust, 19th century. Inscription reads: // (TO / HUNGERFORD / 11 / SARUM /) 16 //J. HAYWOOD JUN R / PHOENIX FOUNDRY/ DERBY//. Grade II listed by Historic England. Milestone Society National ID: WI_HGSA11. Last record: 2003. (See www.milestonesociety.co.uk)
