Carved stone post, Bath Road limestone shoulders design, erected by Marlborough & Froxfield turnpike trust, 18th century. Inscription reads: // TO / HUNGERFORD / (7) //LONDON / 72 //TO / MARLBORO / 2 //A / 4 //. Grade II listed by Historic England. Milestone Society National ID: WI_LB72. Last record: 2010.
