Metal plate attached to stone post, WR casting design, erected by Keighley & Kendal turnpike trust, , 19th century. Inscription reads: // SKIPTON/6¼ MILES/line/SETTLE/21¾ MILES/line/KENDAL/(51 MILES) //KEIGHLEY/3 MILES/line/ADDINGHAM/4¾ MILES //KEIGHLEY & KENDAL/ROAD/line/STEETON/WITH/EASTBURN //.
