Metal plate attached to stone post, Brayshaw & Booth casting design, erected by Leeds & Halifax turnpike trust, , 19th century. Inscription reads: // HALIFAX/4 MILES //LEEDS/11½/MILES //LEEDS & WHITEHALL/ROAD/HIPPERHOLME //BRAYSHAW & BOOTH / MAKERS / LIVERSEDGE //. Grade II listed by Historic England.
