HER 3576 DESCRIPTION:-
Standish Park originated in the Middle Ages and was first recorded in 1582. In 1612, the extent of the park was about 250 acres (100ha) and was primarily used for agricultural land. The remains of a bank and ditch, marking the N side of the park were visible in 1967. {Source Work 862.}

Strip lynchets or field systems, and enclosures reported by B Rawes within the park at SO825079 (centred) - on a S facing slope.{Source Work 902.}
