SO 61 SE LITTLEDEAN CHURCH STREET (east side) 10/81 Adams monument, in churchyard, about 9m south of west face of tower, Church of St. Ethelbert GV II
Headstone, John Adams, died 1686; stone. Shaped head: in centre a head, scroll to left and right, hollow in top connecting to plain circles at corners. Below stylised flower each end, flourishes and a further head in centre with wings rising to frame lower half of head above. Centre recessed for lettering with moulded margin to sides. Oldest surviving dateable monument in churchyard. Listing NGR: SO6719613565. {Source Work 1021.}
