HER 37771 DESCRIPTION:-
1976 - Reputed findspot, subsequently investigated as Testpit 9 in 1976 Deerhurst excavations, of the terracotta head of Jupiter Ammon. The excavation recorded Medieval occupation layers and Post Medieval disturbance from graves being excavated within the churchyard, though no Roman finds, features or deposits. {Source Work 4411.}
