Possible round barrow N of Old Quarries
County: Gloucestershire
District: STROUD
Parish: BISLEY-WITH-LYPIATT
NGR: SO 89 04
Monument Number: 4189
HER 4189 DESCRIPTION:-
Large round mound visible on 1946 APs {1} possibly a barrow but numerous
quarries in vicinity sugest a non-archaeological origin. The fact that it is
still extant in spite of being situated in an arable field would suggest a
modern origin.{pers comm S Brown}
