More information : [SD 7263 4143] Eadsford Bridge [T.I.]. (1) Eadsford Bridge: has "three pointed arches, each with three ribs. This part is only 8 feet in width, but on the downstream side the bridge has been widened by about 12 feet, evidently at the same time that the other arches were rebuilt. A grant of pontage was made in the year 1339". (2) Clitheroe, Easford Bridge. Scheduled. (3) The bridge is correctly described, and is still in use. (4)

Edisford Bridge. Grade II. Bridge over the River Ribble, probably late medieval, widened towards the S and partly rebuilt early C19th. Sandstone ashlar. 5 arches, the 2nd from the E being wider. Arches segmental, except one, 3 and 4 on the N side only which are pointed with stone ribs to their soffits. Triangular cutwaters and solid parapets with string course and weathered coping. (6)
