Summary : Site of modern dam to east of Hadleigh Castle.
More information : The dam in the valley to the east of Hadleigh Castle was examined as part of analytical earthwork survey of the castle. Research showed it to have been constructed between 1947 and 1953. It is currently upstanding but has been breached and no longer retains significant amounts of standing water though the land behind it is marshy (1)
