Two lodges situated in the grounds of Welbeck Abbey at the entrance to Glass Court Drive.The lodges date to the mid 18th century and are thought to have been designed by J. James. Each lodge is rectangular on plan, is of a single storey and has an embattled parapet with moulded band hiding the roof. At the rear of the west lodge is a rusticated and coped 19th century wall which terminated at the 19th century tunnel entrance. (2) |
