No further information was obtained during field investigation. (2)

SE 7408 area. Benedictine cell founded at Sandtoft by Roger de Mowbray (1147-86). In Mowbray's Grant Sandtoft is termed an island, formed by a division in the River Idle near its junction with the Don. (3)
