Summary : An uninscribed gold quarter stater, present whereabouts unknown, said to have been found at Silbury Hill.
More information : IA coin "said to have been found at Silbury Hill, Wilts" [SU 16 NW 21], in the possession of Mr Meeson. Evans type E:3, uninscribed 1/4 stater (coin of the 2nd Belgic Invasion according to Brooke: Num Chrons XIII (1933) 129 & 133). (1)

In his gazetteer, Grinsell suggests that the coin may be "lost", ie whereabouts unknown. (2)
