Summary : Site of grange belonging to Byland Abbey. There are no extant remains.
More information : (SE 5143 7688) Angram Grange. (NAT). (1) A grange of Byland Abbey (Cistercian) existed at Angram on land granted by the Ingleby family. After the Dissolution it was exchanged in 1543 with the Archbishop of York for lands of that see. The present Angram Grange is an early 18th century brick building. (2-3)
