Summary : A possible hollow way and flanking bank of medieval or post medieval date are visible as earthworks on air photographs. The feature extends 527m approximately west to east in an arc. The linear appears to overlie medieval ridge and furrow, but has been truncated by a post medieval gravel pit. The features appear to be no longer extant on the latest 2008 vertical photography.
More information : A possible hollow way and flanking bank of medieval or post medieval date are visible as earthworks on air photographs, centred at TA 0213 4291. The feature extends 527m approximately west to east in an arc. The linear appears to overlie medieval ridge and furrow (UID 1552443), but has been truncated by a post medieval gravel pit (UID 1552250). The features appear to be no longer extant on the latest 2008 vertical photography. (1)
