Summary : A Bronze Age round cairn on a well drained south west facing slope. The cairn mound measures 26 metres by 24 metres and stands up to 1.2 metres high. The centre is much disturbed, with many hollows, up to 1m deep, which have been interpreted as chambers, but are most probably modern windbreak shelters. Two small satellite cairns lie immediatelty to the north west. The cairn, recorded by previous authorities, is visible as a stony structure on Environment Agency 1m Lidar data flown in 2019 and 2021 Historic England orthomosaic aerial photography. The site was mapped from aerial sources in 2023 during the Historic England Dartmoor-Plym project.

A round cairn measuring 26 metres by 24 metres and standing up to 1.2 metres high. This cairn was investigated by Worth during the 19th century and a number of stone lined chambers were revealed. In recent years, the mound has been interpreted as a chambered cairn but it is more likely that it represents a large cairn into which later shelters have been inserted. Immediately next to the north western edge of the mound are 2 small satellite cairns, both measuring 2.5 metres in diameter and up to 0.15 metre high. Scheduled. (6)
It is centred on SX 58684 63512. The cairn mound measures approximately 24.9m in diameter. There are disturbed areas and two small hollows in its top. Scheduled monument NHLE 1013423. (7-8)
