Summary : A Second World War cantilevered type pillbox. It is a brick and concrete mushroom-shaped pillbox consisting of a circular pit with walls about 3 foot high and a domed cantilevered roof springing from a central pillar, thus affording all-round visibility. It is located on the north side of the Lancaster Business Park on the western perimeter of London Southend Airport.
More information : Cantilevered type pillbox. Made of concrete with brick shuttering and central brick pillar.
