Summary : The course of the Roman road might be visible on vertical photographs, though no remains are discernible on the ground in an area of improved pasture.
More information : No trace of Stanegate in lumpy improved pasture. (1)

The course of the side ditches might be visible as feint lines on vertical photographs, with hints of slight agger , between NY 7017 6582 and NY 7021 6583. The course was mapped at a scale of 1:10000 from aerial photographs as part of the Hadrian's Wall World Heritage Site Mapping Project.(2)
