Summary : Second World War reinforced concrete Type 24 pillbox on crest line facing North. In hedgerow at North-West corner of Wybornes Wood, High Halstow. The pillbox could not be identified when the area was mapped from aerial photographs during the English Heritage: Hoo Peninsula Landscape Project.
More information : Concrete type 24 pillbox on crest line facing N. Narrow wall version with brick skin. Part of the defences of Lodge Hill magazine. In hedgerow at NW corner of Wybornes Wood, High Halstow. (1)

The pillbox described in authority 1 falls within the area mapped from aerial photographs as part of the English Heritage: Hoo Peninsula Landscape Project. No corresponding structure was identified on aerial photographs at the stated location. (2)
