Summary : Distinct remains of agger of a Roman road survive as earthworks in an area of trackways and mineral workings.
More information : The course of the road can be intermittently traced as an agger in an area of plentiful east-west trackways and mineral workings. (1) The line of the road was recorded from vertical photographs at a scale of 1:10000 as part of the Hadrian's Wall World Heritage Site Mapping Project. (3)
