Summary : Railway station on the London and Birmingham main line, opened in 1858. Underground services arrived here on 16th April 1917 when the Bakerloo line was extended from Harrow and Wealdstone to Watford Junction. The underground service was withdrawn on the 24th September 1982 when London Transport closed the line from Stonebridge Park to Watford Junction. The station was remodelled in the 1980s.
