Summary : Two short parallel ditches representing traces of a Roman road associated with Pentrehyling Roman fort (SO 29 SW 6), are visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs.
More information : SO 2479 9318. Two parallel linear ditches 70m long are visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs and have been mapped by RCHMEs Marches Uplands Mapping Project. The ditches are located to the east of Pentrehyling Roman fort (SO 29 SW 6), and represent traces of a Roman road associated with the fort. (1-2)
