On the same day as the JOHANNA was lost, an unidentified large ship was driven ashore at `Porth Killier', [St. Agnes]. En route South Shields to Liverpool, she was said to have been refloated and saved, but one newspaper account suggests that she was broken up as a wreck. (4)
