Summary : A late 16th-early 17th century house built by Thomas Cromwell on the site of the Augustinian monastery (SK70SE10). H-plan house remodelled in the early 17th century, and restored in the 19th century. Two-storeyed with attics. A chapel incorporating remains of the convental church adjoins the South wing.
