Summary : The North face of the Wall is incorporated in the fabric of a modern wall to a maximum height of 1.9m; the Roman Wall is unconsolidated and collapsing in places. The Wall fabric remains as a stoney bank, 1.4m in height. The South face is exposed by digging (not recent) to a height of 0.8m. Also visible on air photographs.
