Summary : Earthwork remains of the Roman road visible as a substantial raised platform, 8m to 11m wide with long scarps up to 0.5m high. The top is heavily rutted by vehicle tracks. All of the Stanegate in this area has been utilised in later periods for quarry workings etc.
