More information : In 1930, three Roman bronze bracelets, a bronze ring and a jet necklace, all resting on top of rotting wood, were found in a sand pit at Lexden, TL 98552569 (a). A few pieces of grey ware were discovered in the surrounding soil. The sides of the sand pit show sections of trenches and pits from which coarse native pottery, Belgic and Samian wares, animal bones and a human skull have been found. (1-2)
