Cropmark of a ring ditch recorded from aerial photographs, with other features to the north west which are probably geological. A small quantity of Roman pottery and several late Neolithic/Bronze Age flints have been found in the vicinity.

Galley Hill, Romano-British, Potsherds: [TL 09 26].
5 fragments of Romano-British coarse pottery, as well as 11 flint flakes, 2 end scrapers and miscellaneous retouched flake of later Neolithic/ Bronze Age date.
LTNMG 1989/6 Found by surface collection in the vicinity of a crop-mark oval enclosures to the East of Galley Hill.
