Summary
The remains of a post medieval smock mill. Originally a windmill, its sails were removed at some date before 1926 and it was powered by steam. By the 1980s only the brick base survived.

No more than the brickwork base now remains of Henlow Mill, a familiar landmark opposite the parish church. It had long ago lost its sails, and recently the wooden tower had become dangerous and was taken down.
