Full description
1. The cropmark traces of a probable late Prehistoric settlement comprising a linear arrangement of number of conjoined enclosures centred as a group at TL 1606 7818 adjacent to a stream. The enclosures are all ditch-defined and irregular to rectilinear in form. The line of enclosures can be traced NE-SW for approximately 270m, possibly extending into the next field to the north. These enclosures were seen on aerial photographs taken by English Heritage in July 2006 as part of the Reconnaissance Recording programme.
